Paul Toornend (NL 1967)
Since 1993 I work under the moniker IR. PRJ TOORNEND on various projects in the field of architecture, urbanism and exhibition design. Besides my activities as a designer I am visiting curator of space at the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen and a committee member at the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture in Amsterdam. I teach regularly at different institutions in the Netherlands, currently at the Academy of Architecture and the Sandberg Institute, both situated in Amsterdam.
In addition to my professional activities I have always devoted a substantial part of my time to projects concerning what is commonly referred to as virtual architecture. More information about this particular part of my work can be found at: http://www.untitledspace.net/.
